Wolverhampton u13 girls were unlucky to lose by the odd goal in another high scoring thriller. They matched an excellent Barnsley side for much of the game but just fell short at the death and were beaten 4-3 in their second Champions League game of the season despite fine goals from Harmani Gill, Dhemi Lee Simpson-Taylor and Lexi Ruby. Lexi has now scored four times in her opening two matches in this National competition and we will certainly need her goals when we face Barnsley,Sheffield and Liverpool in our remaining group fixtures.
