A good week for the Primary lads which began at The Walsall Academy last Monday evening. Our U10's won 3-2 on the 3G at Bescot and our boys were fantastic. The Academy players seriously underrated our ability and were devastated as we swept to victory with Rohi, Billy and Charlie Clapp all on target.

With the weather being so poor throughout the rest of the week I'm sure many of the local matches would have been cancelled but fortunately our U11's decided to go ahead regardless against Brierley Hill & Dudley and they went on to claim their first West Midlands League points of the season. The "muddy marvels" dominated from the kick-off although we only led 1-0 at the break as Japhet pounced on a loose ball to score, as the visitors defence failed to clear a well taken corner. We scored 5 more goals in the second half, as persistent pressure finally resulted in the flood gates being opened, and once again it was a series of deadly corners that did the damage. Bohdi Shields scored one goal, although he looked extrem

ely dangerous every time he ventured into the box, whilst Wes Graham was at his lethal best as he netted four times. The best of which saw him pick up the ball on the edge of the area and curl the ball in off the bar as the keeper was rooted to the spot.
