Saturday 9th November 2019

With all our scheduled Secondary games falling victim to the weather, the U11's travelled to The Vale Stadium in Birmingham for The Danone Inter-Association County Finals and were extremely unfortunate to lose 1-0 to Sutton Coldfield in the semi final. A game incidentally we dominated, without finding a way past an extremely impressive goal-keeper.

The morning had begun well so well with Wes Graham's goal which accounted for East Birmingham being followed by a comprehensive 2-0 win over Sandwell. Liam Biddle and Alfie Round were both on target but we should have scored more and this was the theme throughout the morning. A 0-0 draw against Erdington & Saltley meant we topped our section but once again it was so near but yet so far.

Nevertheless let's take nothing away from the lads. We played well on Saturday and we were proud of them for showing such determination. Liam Guy was our man of the tournament because he was very assured throughout.
