April 18th 2026. Heartbreak for the u11 Boys
This was the final appearance of our Wolverhampton’s Boys’ u11 Representative team and the lads were hoping to go out in style by winning The Daniel Sturridge Cup. To do so, however, they knew they would have to top a seven team mini league and they made the best possible start with Thai and Lucas grabbing the goals in a 2-0 opening victory. April 11th 2026.u10 Boys back in action.
A bright and energetic Erdington u10 side started the game strongly at Brookvale and pushed Wolverhampton back on their heels as they raced into an early three-goal lead in this 7v7 encounter. The Wolverhampton lads attempted to settle into their passing rhythm, but such was Erdington’s pace, determination and quality that it was virtually impossible for them to gain a sustained grip on the game but we were given a lifeline when Arjan broke down the right and calmly finish

Wolverhampton U10s delivered an impressive performance at Warstones Primary to ultimately secure an excellent victory over Halesowen in an entertaining and competitive friendly after the first half had been closely contested, with chances at both ends. Our keeper needed to produce a number of important saves to keep the scores level but with Bertie causing chaos at the other end of the pitch with his pace, the Halesowen goal looked far more under threat.
