February 21st 2026. u10 Girls defeat Stafford.
The u10 girls produced a determined and disciplined team performance this morning away to Stafford despite the pitch turning out to be much bigger than expected. The full-size playing area, and extraordinary length, certainly provided for a real great test of stamina for everyone involved but if nothing else it certainly made for an energetic contest and with no offside the game certainly had its unusual moments. Football… but not as we know it. This was a tactical adventure and before every game, captains stepped forward to draw a mysterious “Game Changer” card. This meant in an instant, the rules could flip and we could expect extra players, double-value goals, sudden 1v1 duels and even goalkeeper-versus-goalkeeper facing each other in a showdown. February 14th 2026. u10 Boys on top form.
Team manager Jazz Bains challenged the u10 players to use this friendly against Erdington as an opportunity to develop their passing, teamwork and patterns of play, and the lads certainly responded by producing a disciplined performance against an energetic opponent. Both sides were clearly focussed on keeping possession and building attacks with purpose but Wolverhampton could hardly have made a better start as we took the lead with our very first attack.
