March 14th 2026.Disappointment for the u11 Boys.
The u11 Boys began the morning against Kings Norton in a good position to win the league and, despite knowing the importance of this fixture, they had no reason to fear the opposition in the light of their recent excellent form but what could go wrong, did go wrong, and they were never able to fight back after conceding a couple of early goals. Kings Norton grew in confidence as the match progressed and whatever changes were made the squad seemed unable to find a way to con

Wolverhampton Schools’ u14 Girls Representative Team produced another impressive performance under the floodlights to defeat Kidderminster Harriers Girls in this Wednesday evening fixture at Lilleshall National Sports Centre. The match also had an interesting dynamic, as two Wolverhampton players are also part of the Kidderminster Harriers set-up, but whilst Leja Lopetaitiene was unavailable for the fixture, Issy Campbell did feature for Kidderminster and had the daunting tas

March 7th 2026. U10’s beaten after a good start.
Wolverhampton started the game brightly and Jaxxon had a couple of early efforts on goal that were well saved by the North Shropshire goalkeeper but both teams looked lively in attack during the opening stages and at the other end we were indebted to Ethan for keeping the scores level. It was a tribute to both sides that the tempo remained high throughout the rest of the half and after Jaxxon and Lucas had both seen shots go just over the bar, and North Shropshire had come ev

March 7th 2006. u11 Boys march on with another win.
Wolverhampton made a fantastic start against Aston and in the opening minutes, Jakson showed excellent awareness in goal, to spot Corban’s run, and his long clearance bounced over the Aston defender, enabling Corban to lift the ball over the advancing keeper to give us the lead with a composed finish. Corban continued to cause problems for the opposition but Aston responded well and managed to level the game at 1-1 and the rest of the half was exciting, end-to-end and played

March 1st 2026. U14’s win the battle of our senior teams.
Our u14 and u15 Girls teams provided a great showcase for Wolverhampton District girl football and treated the crowd to some exciting football crowd when they faced each other on Sunday March 1 st at the Sporting Khalsa Stadium. Wolverhampton Schools FA have organised district representative schools football for over a century and this type of fixture between two age groups used to be played quite regularly but unfortunately in has become a rarity today. This is a great pity

February 28th 2026. Great win for the u11 Boys.
The u11’s faced old rivals South Birmingham this morning and left themselves with a mountain to climb after trailing 1-0 at half time but what a transformation after the break. Indeed the second-half turn around was world-class and Hassan was at the heart of everything. He provided the engine in midfield, set the tempo from the centre of the park, and broke up attack after attack, allowing us to push forward and break the lines and eventually the pressure paid off. February 27th 2026. u11 Girls on top of their form.
Three games, one determined squad, and an evening of excellent football at Bodymoor Heath for the Wolverhampton U11 Girls team. They produced three strong performances to finish the night unbeaten, without conceding a single goal and the marker was set in our opening game against Cannock when Clara drove forward and delivered a dangerous cross across the face of goal that just evaded Olivia at the far post, and Sienna saw her effort brilliantly saved on the line. February 21st 2026. u10 Girls defeat Stafford.
The u10 girls produced a determined and disciplined team performance this morning away to Stafford despite the pitch turning out to be much bigger than expected. The full-size playing area, and extraordinary length, certainly provided for a real great test of stamina for everyone involved but if nothing else it certainly made for an energetic contest and with no offside the game certainly had its unusual moments. Nevertheless our girls were working so hard for each other and

February 21st 2026. u10's in Kings Cup & Kings Vase action.
Football… but not as we know it. This was a tactical adventure and before every game, captains stepped forward to draw a mysterious “Game Changer” card. This meant in an instant, the rules could flip and we could expect extra players, double-value goals, sudden 1v1 duels and even goalkeeper-versus-goalkeeper facing each other in a showdown. And if scores were level we would go straight into 3v3 extra time. No time to think with everything so fast, frantic and unforgiving. No

February 14th 2026. u10 Boys on top form.
Team manager Jazz Bains challenged the u10 players to use this friendly against Erdington as an opportunity to develop their passing, teamwork and patterns of play, and the lads certainly responded by producing a disciplined performance against an energetic opponent. Both sides were clearly focussed on keeping possession and building attacks with purpose but Wolverhampton could hardly have made a better start as we took the lead with our very first attack. January 30th 2026. u11 girls complete their League campaign.
The closely contested 0-0 draw against Rugby, with limited chances at both ends, brought the first half of the Midlands Inter-District League season to a close in conditions which were extremely challenging. Freezing temperatures, persistent rain and strong winds making it a far from the ideal experience for players and spectators alike but that said, the girls showed real character, enthusiasm and determination throughout. January 31st 2026. u11 boys face Erdington.
Wolverhampton U11 Boys faced a physically and technically impressive Erdington team this morning and produced arguably their best first-half performance of the season. Erdington were largely restricted to long-range efforts which were comfortably dealt with by Jakson in goal and the only real surprise was that the lads were not able to take a more substantial lead into the interval. January 27th 2026. A great win for the 10 Girls.
The Wolverhampton u10 Girls travelled to play Stafford in a 7-a-side friendly at Bishop Lonsdale School, Eccleshall, and took the game to the opposition from the opening whistle. They displayed great confidence on the ball and played some truly lovely football in a performance that really demonstrates how well this group is developing together and our girls fully deserved their 3-2 victory. It was great to see our youngest district representative players in action at Moreton School and from the opening whistle it became evident that this friendly encounter against Stafford was going to be played with real enthusiasm, energy and competitiveness. Both teams showed plenty of emerging talent and skill, and I'm sure that the Wolverhampton girls will continue to progress under the careful guidance of our coaches Rob and Pete.
