May 15th 2026. Primary Girls back in action.
Wolverhampton entered the Summer tournament consisting of 10 well matched teams with a strong squad and began the evening with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Rugby although we were indebted to an excellent safe from Poppy for maintaining the clean sheet. Olivia had opened the scoring with a direct free kick and Edith sealed the win with the final kick of the game after brilliant work from Mila. Successive 0-0 draws against Harborne and Cannock, proved to be our undoing, howev

May 2026. Farewell to our u15 Girl trailblazers
Since 2021 this squad of players have been role models to the younger age groups and trailblazers for girls’ football in Wolverhampton and they leave us after creating a lasting legacy and memories that will be part of our history forever. The National Final against East Riding in 2023, and the fact that they became the first girls’ group from Wolverhampton Schools FA to take part in a tour abroad tour when they took part in the 2024 France Mediterranean Cup, did so much to p

April 24th 2026. u11 Girls’ in Divisional Cup action.
The Primary Girls team took part in a highly competitive round of divisional cup fixtures this evening, and can be incredibly proud of their performance across their four matches. They created numerous scoring opportunities, showed strong possession and control, and didn’t even concede a goal, despite every game inexplicably resulting in a 0-0 draw. On another day, the quality of chances created, would surely have resulted in goals and wins, due to the effort, attitude, and t

April 18th 2026. Heartbreak for the u11 Boys
This was the final appearance of our Wolverhampton’s Boys’ u11 Representative team and the lads were hoping to go out in style by winning The Daniel Sturridge Cup. To do so, however, they knew they would have to top a seven team mini league and they made the best possible start with Thai and Lucas grabbing the goals in a 2-0 opening victory. The lads came flying out of the traps and this was attacking football at its very best. The second game against North Shropshire was muc

April 11th 2026.u10 Boys back in action.
A bright and energetic Erdington u10 side started the game strongly at Brookvale and pushed Wolverhampton back on their heels as they raced into an early three-goal lead in this 7v7 encounter. The Wolverhampton lads attempted to settle into their passing rhythm, but such was Erdington’s pace, determination and quality that it was virtually impossible for them to gain a sustained grip on the game but we were given a lifeline when Arjan broke down the right and calmly finish

April 4th 2026. u10 Boys on top form.
Wolverhampton U10s delivered an impressive performance at Warstones Primary to ultimately secure an excellent victory over Halesowen in an entertaining and competitive friendly after the first half had been closely contested, with chances at both ends. Our keeper needed to produce a number of important saves to keep the scores level but with Bertie causing chaos at the other end of the pitch with his pace, the Halesowen goal looked far more under threat. March 14th 2026.Disappointment for the u11 Boys.
The u11 Boys began the morning against Kings Norton in a good position to win the league and, despite knowing the importance of this fixture, they had no reason to fear the opposition in the light of their recent excellent form but what could go wrong, did go wrong, and they were never able to fight back after conceding a couple of early goals. Kings Norton grew in confidence as the match progressed and whatever changes were made the squad seemed unable to find a way to con
