January 30th 2026. u11 girls complete their League campaign.
The closely contested 0-0 draw against Rugby, with limited chances at both ends, brought the first half of the Midlands Inter-District League season to a close in conditions which were extremely challenging. January 27th 2026. A great win for the 10 Girls.
The Wolverhampton u10 Girls travelled to play Stafford in a 7-a-side friendly at Bishop Lonsdale School, Eccleshall, and took the game to the opposition from the opening whistle. They displayed great confidence on the ball and played some truly lovely football in a performance that really demonstrates how well this group is developing together and our girls fully deserved their 3-2 victory. January 16th 2026.Mixed results for the u11 girls
The Primary girls were back at Bodymoor Heath for their first Friday evening games of the New Year and once again these five teams were so well matched that goals were always going to be at a premium. The Wolverhampton girls began on the backfoot by losing their opening encounter, with Sutton Coldfield scoring the only goal, but then recovered well to win their next two games by the same 1-0 margin. January 14th 2026.u10 Girls take a bow!
It was great to see our youngest district representative players in action at Moreton School and from the opening whistle it became evident that this friendly encounter against Stafford was going to be played with real enthusiasm, energy and competitiveness.
