January 27th 2026. A great win for the 10 Girls.

The Wolverhampton u10 Girls travelled to play Stafford in a 7-a-side friendly at Bishop Lonsdale School, Eccleshall, and took the game to the opposition from the opening whistle. They displayed great confidence on the ball and played some truly lovely football in a performance that really demonstrates how well this group is developing together and our girls fully deserved their 3-2 victory. At times they produced passages of play featuring beautiful linked triangles and well-timed through balls and the team’s slick passing, clever movement, and excellent use of space was a real highlight.

Defensively, the team worked tirelessly for one another, pressing as a unit and recovering quickly when out of possession, and this gave our forwards the confidence to produce attacking play which was direct, creative, and full of energy. The standout moment of the match came from Sienna, who scored a brilliant hat trick, leading the team to victory in a closely fought contest. In recognition of her achievement, she will be presented with the signed match ball next Wednesday - a welldeserved reward!

This was a fantastic effort from everyone involved and no-one could argue with our coach Peter Corr’s assessment, that our team’s performance was “a joy to behold.” Well done Wolves. The future is looking very bright for this team.                                                                       Squad:  Eva (GK), Peyton, Jessica, Mila, Josie, Georgie, Sienna Johnson, Brooklyn, Sienna Smith, Aurora.
