February 28th 2026. Great win for the u11 Boys.

The u11’s faced old rivals South Birmingham this morning and left themselves with a mountain to claim after trailing 1-0 at halftime but what a transformation after the break. Indeed the second-half turnaround was world-class and Hassan was at the heart of everything. He provided the engine in midfield, set the tempo from the centre of the park, and broke up attack after attack, allowing us to push forward and break the lines and eventually the pressure paid off. Thai found a pocket of space and smashed home a clinical equaliser to get us back in the game and from that point onwards the momentum had truly swung in our favour.

Lucas then stepped up as the maestro, pulling the strings in the final third before slotting home a composed winning goal that sent our fans into absolute ecstasy and we comfortably held on to achieve a well- deserved 2-1 victory. Lucas and Noel Dillon, from Elston Hall who was making his debut, rightly shared the accolades but this was above all a tribute to the whole squad who all put in a massive shift to flip the script and take all three points. What a performance. South Birmingham didn't know what had hit them in that second half!

Squad: Jakson, Zora, Noel, Charlie, Duarte, Hassan, Corban, Mustafa, Thai, Lucas, Monroes.
