December 15th 2023. 3 wins out of 4 for the U11 Girls.

The u11 girls played extremely well this evening at Bodymoor Heath, winning three of their four games and they came within a whisker of remaining unbeaten because their sole defeat against Sutton Coldfield was extremely unfortunate. In the absence of our regular goal-keeper, Arabella Wooley, the players took turns to go in goal and we still conceded just the one goal (from a disputed free kick which in its own way was almost as controversial as that infamous penalty 'goal' which has now been viewed over a million times throughout the world !)The girls were indeed fantastic today and the managers are really proud of the whole group because they are working so well together. Tonight they produced some of the best football they have played all season and they have now put themselves in a strong position to win the League competition, between the top five teams in the West Midlands, which will be concluded on Friday 12th January 2024.
