September 27th 2025. Stunning win for the u11 Boys.

Wolverhampton U11s produced a dazzling display of football against North Shropshire, lighting up the pitch with skill, energy, and clinical finishing. We set the tempo from the off with Thai electric on the left flank and by driving fearlessly at defenders he created danger with every touch and it didn’t take long for his positivity to pay off. After leaving his marker behind, Thai whipped in a superb cross which Corban smashed home with a brilliant volley from close range and the momentum the team generated was relentless. Minutes later, Fabien surged from midfield to double our advantage with a brave toe-poke sparking cheers from the touchline and our opponents struggled to contain us.Thai was causing havoc on the left but Lucas was proving just as devastating on the right with his constant trickery and precise delivery leaving North Shropshire’s defence scrambling. After yet another inviting cross had found Corban in space, his second volley of the day flew past the helpless goalkeeper to virtually end the match as a contest even before Lucas turned provider once again on the stroke of half-time to enable Corban to complete his first-half hat-trick with a powerful header.

Despite holding a commanding 4–0 lead at the break the lads ensured that the second half brought no respite for the visitors and there were some excellent individual performances. Duarte and Mustafa combined with flair, and Mustafa showed great composure for instance to lob the advancing keeper and make it five. Indeed, he almost had another moments later, unleashing a thunderous strike which looked destined for the corner, only for the North Shropshire keeper to pull off a stunning save that even drew applause from the Wolverhampton supporters. Wolverhampton’s pressure continued with Lucas dancing past two defenders and firing a shot that rattled the post but our defence was just as impressive. Charlie marshalled the back line superbly, snuffing out danger before it could develop and even when North Shropshire did threaten they found Jakson was unbeatable between the sticks, producing one brilliant double save in particular to preserve his clean sheet and keep the momentum firmly in our favour. It was left to Duarte, however, to round off a really enjoyable morning with an individual moment of brilliance which began when he .picked up the ball in midfield, and ended with a sensational left-footed strike into the bottom corner of the net.
