January 30th 2026. u11 girls complete their League campaign.
The closely contested 0-0 draw against Rugby, with limited chances at both ends, brought the first half of the Midlands Inter-District League season to a close in conditions which were extremely challenging. Freezing temperatures, persistent rain and strong winds making it a far from the ideal experience for players and spectators alike but that said, the girls showed real character, enthusiasm and determination throughout. Erin took over in goal from Poppy and made a coupl

January 27th 2026. A great win for the 10 Girls.
The Wolverhampton u10 Girls travelled to play Stafford in a 7-a-side friendly at Bishop Lonsdale School, Eccleshall, and took the game to the opposition from the opening whistle. They displayed great confidence on the ball and played some truly lovely football in a performance that really demonstrates how well this group is developing together and our girls fully deserved their 3-2 victory. At times they produced passages of play featuring beautiful linked triangles and well-

January 16th 2026.Mixed results for the u11 girls
The Primary girls were back at Bodymoor Heath for their first Friday evening games of the New Year and once again these five teams were so well matched that goals were always going to be at a premium. The Wolverhampton girls began on the backfoot by losing their opening encounter, with Sutton Coldfield scoring the only goal, but then recovered well to win their next two games by the same 1-0 margin. Sienna J. on target against Aston and Willow scoring the winner against Harbo

January 14th 2026.u10 Girls take a bow!
It was great to see our youngest district representative players in action at Moreton School and from the opening whistle it became evident that this friendly encounter against Stafford was going to be played with real enthusiasm, energy and competitiveness. Both teams showed plenty of emerging talent and skill, and I'm sure that the Wolverhampton girls will continue to progress under the careful guidance of our coaches Rob and Pete. Wolverhampton started brightly and thought

December 30th 2025.u11 girls last game of the year.
Wolverhampton knew they were in for a real challenge, facing a strong Stafford side including several players registered with professional clubs including Aston Villa but the game began evenly, with chances created at both ends of the pitch. Sienna Johnson tested the Stafford goalkeeper early on and at the other end, Eva Biddulph, making her debut for Wolverhampton Schools, looked confident from the start — pulling off a string of impressive and intelligent saves to keep her

October 31st 2025. Halloween treat for the u11 Girls.
This was a very entertaining competitive game played in blustery conditions, with both sides displaying lots of skill, effort, and determination. Leeds settled the quicker of the two teams, and by passing the ball neatly and adapting well to the wind they quickly established a 3-0 lead. Our opponents looked composured and the game was looking well beyond us at that stage but the Wolverhampton girls weren’t about to give in, and indeed they grew stronger as the match progresse

October 17th 2025. u11 girls in National cup action.
The Wolverhampton girls put in a strong and spirited performance on Friday evening at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre, continuing their development and showing plenty of promise despite a tough scoreline, but ultimately ran out of steam after an excellent start. Despite the result it was undoubtedly a great night of football and a brilliant effort from the girls, who gave everything from the first whistle to the last. Our first half performance was excellent and no-one
