Wolverhampton faced a strong South Birmingham side, who were top of the league with a 100% record, and matched them for long spells in both possession and chances created despite missing key players and having to play an unfamiliar 8v8 format. From the outset, this was a closely contested encounter with Kings Norton but Wolverhampton created the first clear opportunity when Mustafa volleyed a dangerous cross across the face of goal. December 13th. A Christmas blip for the u10 Boys.
A much-changed Wolverhampton side faced a challenging fixture against North Shropshire with three players making their league debuts and others returning after absence. As a result the team took a little time to develop into a cohesive rhythm but they nevertheless competed well in the early stages. Wolverhampton started the game brightly with Alessandro rattling the post early on, but it was Erdington who struck first and they soon doubled their lead when a low shot slipped under Stefan to give them a 2-0 advantage.
